etsy charm...

birch tree in fog capelet

A quick post, as I'm too busy to give proper attention to anything!!!

This past Christmas, I stumbled upon etsy.com and found Ellita's Flying Snail. It was a delight to choose a few special gifts from her hand-crafted, artful, one-of-a-kind creations.

You may click here for perusing her current gallery of items for sale, or go to etsy.com to sample all their galleries.

Mom, you would not believe how many compliments I get on the capelet that you gave me for Christmas! Thank you for posting this so I can now let people know where you got it.

Ah, you've found Etsy. Good for you. This shawl thing is lovely. Did you buy it?

Oh, I just read Sarah's comment. So you DID buy it.

Hey, Assistant Designer Sarah, remember the rule about gifts in your family-of-origin: If you like it, it's from Dad!

Right, Dad, what I meant to say was "the capelet that Big Guy got me for Christmas."

Sarah, so very glad it brings joy to your life/closet. It just seemed 'right' for you.

I'm wondering if BigGuy could give us a description of it...just for an itsy-weeny test...

Scout -- Yes, I bought that one! Actually...for daughter #2 in Minneapolis. Something about it bespoke artfully and ameliorating-ly of 'cold climate that no human being should tolerate'.

Now - I WANT ONE.

I can't even begin to express how beautiful the capelet that Big Guy got me was. I think it was called "seawave".

Yes -- sea wave stole.

Big Guy's feminine side really shined through this past Christmas.
