weeping for wonder...
The spiritually profound O Magnum Mysterium by Morton Lauridsen.
UST Alumni Singers, both incredibly able and obviously popular (over 80,000 views).
Below, proof that a group can be seamlessly one, even when comprised of solo quality voices, one of which is deliciously featured here in Unusual Way (from the musical Nine, Maury Yeston, composer). Arrangement by their director.

Oh, thank you for that O Magnum Mysterium video...
It's more than a year later, and we still miss you terribly.
"Unusual" would be very nice for the Master Chorale. Shall pass the suggestion along. Any plans to visit in the next few months or are you now solidly entrenched East of the Mississippi? Once grandbaby Charlotte arrives, we have no hope of seeing you...
O Magnum Mysterium ... remind you of another excellent group? We just might be putting it on the L&C menu for Dec 21st ... thanks for the video.
To the S, T, B trio: I'm constantly fueled by the memory and miracle of our friendships and wondrous collaborations. Strange and difficult to find my way without you all...
Don't think we'll be doing the O Magnum here just yet. But have fallen in passionate love with his Sure on this Shining Night - ever, as always, amazing Morton, and also a good 'primer' in how his mind and heart work. I'm ordering it.
Love. Love. Love.
Oh, you say December 21st, U3? In my dreams I thought y'all might be doing it earlier in Advent and could fly over for ours......
