Lucy isn't ever this seemingly well-behaved. I'd love to see the uncropped image to discover just what was holding her attention (an octopus? a raw chicken? Father C sprawled unconcious on the floor?). Oh, and the aftermath, when she unleashed whatever devious plot she was formulating as this photograph was taken.
You are anthropomorphilizing Lucy! As you know, she doesn't have a devious bone in her body. She is, however, camera shy, and was doing her best to sit still while appearing not to notice what was going on.
Or, maybe she was looking wistfully out the door, hoping for one of her boyfriends to arrive...
